The Forest Research Institute (FRI) is an institute of the Indian Counsel of Forestry Research and Education is a premier institution in the field of  forestry research in India. It is located at Dehradun in Uttarakhand, and is among the oldest institutions of its kind. In 1991, it was declared a deemed University by the University Grants Commission.

Age Limit –

- Technical Assistant - 18 to 30 years

-  For all other posts - 18 to 27 years

Hiring Process : Face to Face Interview

Qualification: 

·  Library Information Assistant: Bachelor Degree. 

· Technical Assistant: 03 years diploma in Engineering in the relevant field from a recognized Institution or 10+2 with Science from a recognized Board + 2 years diploma in the relevant field from a recognized University/ Institution.

·  Steno: 10th 12th Pass with Steno qualification.

·  MTS: 10th standard pass from recognized Board/ recognized School.
