Indian Postal Circle has announced recruitment for post of Gramin Dak Sevaks(GDS) under Maharashtra and Bihar Postal Circle. 10th Pass-out candidates having basic knowledge of computer and local language (Hindi/Marathi/konkani) are eligible to apply. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:  10th pass-out with passing marks in Maths, English & Local Language(Hindi). Also knowledge of Computer is mandatory. Refer notification for more details.

 

AGE LIMIT: 18 to 40 Years as on 27th January 2021.  

 

SELECTION PROCESS :

·         It is based on merit list submitted by the candidate’s online applications as per the rules.

·         There is no weight-age on higher educational qualification. Only marks obtained in SSC from approved Boards are considered.

·         In case candidates get the same marks, the merit order would be taken as DOB(higher age as merit), ST female, SC female, OBC female, UR female, ST Male, SC Male, OBC male, UR male. Refer notification for more details..

 

SALLARY:  Minimum Time Rated Continuity Allowance (TRCA) is.

·         For BPM: Rs. 12,000(4 Hour/Level 1)- Rs. 14,500(5 Hour/Level 2)

·         For ABPM/ Dak Sevak: Rs. 10,000(4 Hour/Level 1)- 12,000(5 Hour/Level 2)

·         For UR/OBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen : Rs. 100
