Maharashtra Post Office Recruitment 2020 | For Post Of Postman, Mail Guard, MTS | 1371 vacancies | Apply from 05 October to 03 November 2020

 

Maharashtra Postal Circle/Office  has announced recruitment for the post of Postman, Mail Guard and Multi Tasking Staff (MTS). Eligible and interested aspirants can apply for the post. Total of 1371 vacancies are available which include 1029 for Postman Post, 15 for Mail-guard and 327 for MTS Posts. Details are given below.

JOB PROFILE : Vacancies are available for the post of postman, mail-guard & multi tasking staff.

1.            Postman - 1029 Posts

3.            MTS (Administrative Officer)- 32 Posts

4.            MTS (Sub Ordinate Office) - 295 Posts

AGE LIMIT :  Age limit for the posts of Postman/Mail Guard is 18 - 27 years & Age limit for the post of Multi Tasking Staff is 18 - 25 years. For more information about age limit read notification carefully.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

·    A. For Postman/Mail Guard

1.            12th standard pass from a recognized Board/Institute/University.

2.            Knowledge of local language (Marathi and Konkani) is necessary

B. Multi Tasking Staff:

1.            10th standard pass from a recognized Board.

2.            Knowledge of local language (Marathi and Konkani) is necessary

PAPER PATTERN:

Paper I - (90 Minutes) (Maximum Marks - 100):

A. General Awareness / Knowledge	30 questions
B. Basic Arithmetic	40 questions
C. Reasoning and Analytical Ability	30 questions

 

Paper Il - (45 Minutes) (Maximum Marks - 60):

Word translation from English to local language (MCQ)	15 Questions for 1 mark each
Words Translation from local language to English (MCQ)	15 Questions for 1 mark each
Letter writing in local language in B0 to 100 words (1 question to be attempted out of 3 options)	15 marks
Paragraph / short essay in local language in 80 to 100 words (1 question to be attempted out of 3 options)	15 mark

 

Paper I – (20 Minutes) (Maximum Marks - 40):

Skill Test of data entry for 20 minutes on computer [Data | entry of 2000 depressions ( + 5%) l

SELECTION CRITERIA : Selection of the candidate will be based on merit list. Only such candidates, who qualified in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III separately, will be considered for final selection and their merit shall be drawn in order of mark secured in Paper-I only since Paper-II and Paper III are only qualifying in nature.

PAY SCALE:

A, Postman/Mail Guard : Rs. 21,700-69,100

B. Multi Tasking Staff : Rs. 18,000-56,900

CENTERS OF EXAMINATION: Applicant must indicate the Centre in the online Application Form in which he/she desires to take the examination. Details about the Examination Centres are as follows:
