Online applications are invited from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the 1300 posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (GradeII/Executive) i.e. ACIO-II (Exe) in IB (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India.

Salary : Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600 (PB-2) Plus admissible Central Govt allowances. [Level 7 of pay matrix {Initially Rs 44900/- per month plus allowances} as per the recommendations of 7th C.P.C.]

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualifications (as on 2 Sep 2017):
Essential : Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University.
Desirable : Knowledge of computers.
Age Limit (as on 2 Sep 2017): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years {relaxable for reserved classes}
Selection Process :
1. Written Examination
2. Interview – 100 Marks
3. a) The candidate has to appear in Tier-I at one of the test centres mentioned above.
b) There will be negative marking of ¼ mark for each wrong answer in Tier-I.
c) No marks would be awarded for an un-attempted question.
d) Only those candidates would be called for Tier-II exam who come up to a certain standard in Tier-I. For Tier-II examination, there will be a minimum cut off marks of 33%.
e) Based on the combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and interview, the candidates would be short listed for final selection subject to successful completion of their Character and Antecedent verification followed by medical examination.
Application Fee : Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). Only male candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay the fee. All SC/ST and female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.
